Packaging & Finishing – Grand Format Printing
Reporting to the Q.C. manager, a Packaging & Finishing employee’s responsibilities include:
• Box / Pack / Wrap finished materials in appropriate way for shipping, delivery or installation.
• Ensure packed items are accurately counted and that the printed proofs are accurate and match what is in the package.
• Assembling manufactured parts to finish projects using various methods and techniques.
• Assist Q.C. department as needed.
• Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.
• Coordinate with delivery department for scheduling pick ups and deliveries.
• Handling customer service / Sales: Handling customer service / Sales inquiries.
• Ensuring quality and safety: Maintaining quality and safety standards, and enforcing safety protocols
A packaging & Finishing employee should have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a strong team ethic.
