You Are:An experienced EDA CAD Engineer with a robust background in semiconductor design. You thrive in dynamic environments and possess the ability to write scripts from scratch in Perl while also debugging legacy code that can be complex and convoluted. You are proficient in developing and supporting unified CAD environments equipped with the latest Process Design Kits (PDKs) and Foundry Design Kits (FDKs). Your strong UNIX/Linux skills, experience with schematic, layout, and spice simulation, and ability to run and debug DRC, LVS, and extraction runs make you an ideal fit for this role. You have a passion for maintaining and enhancing CAD tools and methodologies for IC design, and you enjoy working collaboratively within a talented team of engineers. Your innovative spirit drives you to continuously seek new software engineering approaches and solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:- Develop and support Synopsys EDA CAD environments and methodologies for IC Design.
- Apply software engineering methods and theories to research and solve technical problems.
- Define and select new software engineering approaches to CAD environments.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for the CAD tools and methodologies.
- Develop scripts in PERL, TCL, and UNIX Shell.
- Utilize Git & Perforce for tracking and collaboration.

What You'll Need:- MS degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of direct industry-related experience.
- Strong UNIX/Linux skills and experience.
- Experience with schematic, layout, and spice simulation.
- Experience running and debugging DRC, LVS, and extraction runs.
