Who we're looking for:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Market Representation Analyst for the Toyota New York Region located in West Caldwell, NJ. This role involves implementing and overseeing initiatives that bolsters the Region's Market Representation department. The primary responsibility is to craft and present Market Representation packages for approval by Toyota Motor North America Retail Market Development. Direct areas of accountability include Market Representation, along with some engagement in Business Management and Facilities, all falling within the Market Representation department. Adherence to Toyota's policies and procedures regarding dealership management, ownership structure, capitalization, and facilities is crucial. This role plays a pivotal part in our pursuit of achieving top-tier representation across markets, focusing on securing premier dealerships, facilities, and locations within every market served.
What you'll be doing:- Research and analyze dealer proposals to ensure compliance to all applicable Market Representation policies.
- Prepare and compile comprehensive proposals for dealer agreement renewals, ownership changes, General Manager changes, buy/sells, location amendments, nominations of successor, entity/DBA name changes, terminations.
- Evaluate dealers' proposed changes to ownership and management to confirm compliance with Market Representation's Ownership and Control policies.
- Occasionally travel to dealerships related to performance-based sales consultations, financial statement consultations, Dealer Performance Report consultations and General Manager Evaluation (GME) consultations.
- Create ad hoc reports to support any Region department and assist in the development and or preparation of special projects, as required.
- Prepare annual Net Working Capital agreements and ensure approvals and compliance.
What you bring:- Bachelor's degree (or higher) OR equivalent professional work experience.
- Professional experience in a business environment (i.e. administrative, paralegal, business, operations, analysis).
- Capability and desire to function in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, problem solving, reading comprehension, and follow-up abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to communicate data to management-level professionals.
Added bonus if you have:- Market Representation/Business Management experience at either the corporate or regional level.
- Paralegal experience.
- Project Manager or Compliance Analyst experience.
- Grant Consultant / Coordinator experience.
- Experience reviewing corporate and legal documents for retail franchise ownership structures.
- Financial statements experience.
- Ability to develop and implement dealer proposal preparation processes and procedures that foster consistency and efficiency of work product.

The annual base salary range for this position is $72,500.00 - $117,800.00
