Position Summary: The Manager, Corporate Partnerships is a full time, benefit-eligible, strictly sales position. This individual will be responsible for generating leads and closing advertising and sponsorship agreements for the team and facility. Candidate should be able to provide a documented history of successful sales.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities: - Prospect, research and close sponsorship contracts for the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena.
- Build, develop and track robust new revenue pipeline and present to senior leadership as requested.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential sponsors.
- Support the development of high value partnership and sales opportunities through the creation of sales presentations, client experience demos and the structuring of deal terms.
- Identify and assess key revenue drivers and risks related to potential transactions.
- Work with the Corporate Services staff to ensure clients' sponsorship elements are implemented timely and value delivered.
- Prepare weekly sales reports and track local and regional trends and emerging markets.
- Liaise with other departments on sponsored programs - departments to include game presentation, community relations, ticketing, suites, and others as necessary.
- Work with key sponsorship colleagues to create a collaborative business development process and opportunities for integrated partnerships.
- Assess client objectives and align activation concepts to meet those objectives.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university.
- Ideal candidates will have at least 3-5 years of sponsorship or venue related sales experience.
- Strong existing client relationships and media sales experience are preferred.
- Excellent people skills, and an ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with VIP's as well as internal and external clients at all levels are a must.
- High level of initiative, inner drive and attention to detail.
- Candidate must have problem solving skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills, including being comfortable speaking in front of groups and company executives.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new and creative sales ideas.
- Ability to prioritize projects and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Candidates must be able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiative and ownership and effectively leverage resources to drive successful outcomes.
- The selected candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to work autonomously and to function both independently and as a team member.

- Possess a valid driver's license, possess a suitable driving history and be insurable by Nashville Predators' insurance carrier (without conditions).
Essential Physical Functions: - High finger dexterity for large document typing.
- Occasional heavy lifting/ moving of items up to 50lbs.
- Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures and loud noise.
- Excellent computer skills.
