Point Monitor Corp is actively seeking licensed low-voltage technicians, Oregon LEA preferred. Your leadership experience qualifies you for one of the following roles:
• Director of a subdivision (salary depending on experience)
• Group Manager: hourly paid, total compensation (pay and benefits) $125-141k per year
• Team Captain: hourly paid, total comp $113-129k per year
• Lead Technician: hourly paid, total comp $102-118k per year
• Entry level LEA/LEB Journeyman: hourly paid, total comp $93-109k per year

Oregon LEA or LEB low voltage electrician license required. Washington state licensing a big plus.
SKILLS: If you are an effective troubleshooter of low voltage systems, we can teach you the specifics of our fire, security and communication systems. We also look for ability to install limited energy systems per NEC code requirements, effective system startup and checkout methodology, and programming. Additionally, success in this position requires reasonably good written and verbal communications, active problem solving through creativity and risk-taking, ability to follow specific instructions precisely when necessary, multitasking, consistent follow-through on delegated tasks and a commitment to always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. NICET certification and design knowledge are a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic understanding of laptop computers and Microsoft Office -- at least with MS Excel and MS Word.
OTHER HELPFUL EXPERIENCE: Notifier, Potter, and Silent Knight fire alarm systems, Jeron and Tektone nurse call, Telecor and Carehawk communication systems, Door King, DSC and Kantech access control systems.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION: Duties vary from day to day but could include a mix of the following: service and troubleshoot existing systems and wiring, install fire, security and communication systems and cabling, project pre-planning and interface with customers and building occupants, possible site previews with sales representatives to assess system upgrade opportunities for the company, and occasional customer training. Communicating with others is central to this important role at our company.
