Working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities is some of the most rewarding and fulfilling work you can do. As an Assistant Manager you will fill a dual role as a Direct Support Professional providing support for the individuals living in the home as well as the responsibilities of the Assistant Manager.
What you will be doing:
As a DSP:
You will provide support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in ways that enhance the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of those we support.
Job duties included and not limited to:
- Providing person centered companionship
- Preparing meals and cleaning
- Plan and participate activities in the community
- Ensure daily tasks to provide a safe and heathy home
- Possibly nursing delegations (not in all homes)
As an Assistant Manager:
- Weekend work is required
- Taking Weekend On-call for Program you are assigned to
- Designated admin hours to complete tasks
- Delegated monthly administrative tasks
- Shopping for groceries and general house supplies
- Not responsible for disciplinary actions.

Requirements -- Must be 18 years old - Must be able to pass federal background check - Must be able to safely lift up to 45 pounds – Must have a valid Driver’s License - Must work weekends.
