Description of role:
We are looking for qualified CNC machinists with experience in CNC Lathes, Horizontal or Vertical Machining Centers. This candidate will perform under limited supervision and be responsible for the set-up and operation of various shop machinery for parts production, utilizing drawings/prints, programming instructions and inspection conformance measures.
*****Work schedule: Days!!! 6:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Thursday with overtime available on Fridays

Competitive and motivated market-based salary depending on experience
*****Tasks:
*Perform machine set-up, load and measure tooling
*Work from prints and/or drawings to produce a wide variety of products
*Perform high-tolerance production-style machining using GD&T and in-process inspection methodology
*Check height, depth and thickness of parts using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precision measurement equipment
*Produce precision parts within the time constraints listed on the job traveler
*Perform routine maintenance per machine requirements
*Maintain personal quality tooling and accurate record keeping
*****Skills and requirements:
*Graduate of a technical school, full apprenticeship program or comparable demonstrated experience
*Demonstrated ability to create products requiring exacting tolerances
*Read and understand G and M code
*Read and understand blueprints and drawings as well as trigonometry
*Demonstrate a high level of detail attention
*Ability to lift frequently up to 10 pounds (occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds)
*Ability to work independently, responsibly, and reliably
*Proficiency with inspection tools
*Must have your own machinist tools and basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometer, dial indicator...available for purchase on site)
*Must pass drug test prior to hire
