The position includes maintaining employee records, running bi-weekly, multi-state payroll, processing 401k contributions, tax deposits and garnishments, as well as preparation of quarterly/annual payroll taxes. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Maintain employee records
• Enter and verify computer generated time cards
• Calculate manual time cards
• Process bi-weekly, multi-state payrolls
• Process tax deposits, 401k contributions and garnishments
• Process quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
• Post payroll in computer and manually on ledger sheets
Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Five (5) years of experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Proficient on 10 key calculator by touch
• Detail oriented and able to meet payroll deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Dependable, organized and able to maintain confidentiality
• Solid understanding of payroll policies
• Sage ERP (MAS 100) experience preferred
