Job Description:In your position as a Senior Consultant, you will support the client's efforts in obtaining an audit opinion of its Working Capital Fund outlined by its Audit PMO Strategy. The client requires full audit sustainment and deficiency remediation support across all assigned business processes. Primary business process cycles include Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Plan-to-Stock (P2S). This position will have anticipated travel to Battle Creek, MI, New Cumberland, PA, Richmond, VA, Columbus, OH, and Philadelphia, PA. You will also:
- Provide audit support for in-person meetings, off-site testing, and audit site visits.
- Create, document, validate, and provide feedback, rationale, and recommended revisions to the client's audit deficiency and remediation plans related to O2C and P2S.
- Develop test plans and perform testing of documented internal controls under TOD/TOE procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis over new and/or existing NFRs.
- Develop or update/maintain presentations for and/or brief meetings to include the client's Vice Director Audit Updates and various other meetings.
- Provide oversight, monitoring, and tracking of approximately 80+ NFRs, CAPs, and PBCs.
- Provide expert audit coaching support.
- Provide audit roadmap for achieving an audit opinion for the WCF to meet the target date.
- Develop and maintain an audit smart book for client leadership.
- Develop/update business process documentation, such as process cycle memorandum (PCM)/narratives to remediate process issues identified in existing NFRs.
- Advise and assist on and prepare client evaluations of applicable SOC 1 Type 2 documentation from the client's Service Providers.
- Provide ad hoc PBC support.
- Advise and assist on and prepare effective CAP closure packages in support of O2C and P2S.
Required Skills:- Bachelor's Degree
- Four (4) years of accounting or financial experience, including supervising and directing the efforts of staff.
- Financial statement audit experience or preparation of assertion packages.
Desired Skills:- GAAP/GAGAS/ICOR experience.
- OMB Circulars A-123, A-134, A-136 and other OMB policies FASAB, SSAC, and SFFAS experience.
- DoD and agency financial management policies and procedures.
- Agency policies, systems, and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property and material management.
- Familiarity with FMS.
- CPA, CIA, CISA, CDFM, or CGFM certification.

Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
