If so, Awakening Cybershop & xTribe in the heart of downtown Inglewood is looking for you! Our team thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced cyberpunk atmosphere where every detail matters. We need dedicated individuals who are committed to keeping our spaces pristine and running smoothly. While prior experience in these specific roles is a plus, it's not a requirement.
Apprentice:
• Janitorial/Cleaning Services
• Stocking/Inventory Management
• Basic Kitchen Support
Kitchen:
• Create short-order food items like sandwiches, bagels open-face toasts and oatmeal
• Assist in food and beverage preparation, restocking, and maintaining cleanlines
• Help baristas by preparing cups, mixes, and other needs
• Clean up the kitchen and customer areas
• Restock and inventory items
Promotion to Barista:
• Available after training from Short-Order Cook, with an increase to $22/hour (existing experience is advantageous):
Promotion to Shift Lead & Manager:
• $24 and $25 / hour respectively
Basic Requirements:
• 100% reliability (reliable transportation and verifiable references are a must)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Conversational English skills and a cheerful disposition
• Food handling certification as required by LA County
• Valid photo and tax ID (SSN)
Work Schedule:
• 5 to 6 days per week, mostly 4 to 6-hour shifts, up to 35 hours per week
• Weekend availability may be required
Compensation and Benefits, depend on the position:
• $18+/hour
• $10-$25 credit for use at Awakening per shift
• One free drink per shift
• Membership to the co-working space
Training Period:
• Paid at $16/hour, where you will learn the ropes and shadow an experienced team member
Opportunities for Growth:
