Our team is seeking an experienced Strategy Manager to develop and manage the strategic roadmap for our technology systems and capital investments. You'll collaborate closely with operational and technology delivery teams to align our systems strategy with overall business objectives, ensuring maximizing return on investment. Your expertise and recommendations will influence what tools thousands of team members will interact with on a daily basis - making it easier for operational teams to get work done and delight our business customers.
What you'll do* - You'll be analyzing complex technological landscapes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing strategic vision to key stakeholders across the business
- You will regularly meet with technical subject matter experts and build relationships with our key tool delivery partners. You will own the systems blueprint that will enable our future organizational success
- Key responsibilities include overseeing the systems roadmap, management of capital plans, evaluating & influencing decisions on new system technologies and ensuring alignment of internal organization plans with greater corporate plans. You'll have an advisory role- sharing your insights and recommendations to leaders at all levels of the organization, from frontline managers to our SVP
QualificationsWhat you bring: - Team player with a collaborative mindset and a track record of building and developing cross-functional relationships; self-motivated with high standards of performance and the ability to deal with complex concepts and ambiguity
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to present complex information in an easily understood manner to diverse audiences, facilitating dialogue and debate
- Experience in presenting recommendations to senior leadership teams and influencing strategic decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to build and analyze business cases, with strong financial and business acumen to understand the implications of strategic decisions
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and identifying new opportunities, connecting the dots between related projects and programs
- Strong expertise in developing and implementing governance processes, with a focus on systems, technology and capital spend
- Exceptional organization and planning skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field, with 2-5 years of proven experience in IT strategy, capital planning, and project management within a large enterprise environment
Great-to-haves - Program Management experience would be an asset
- Telecommunications/wireline industry experience an asset
