We are seeking a supply chain manager with expertise in planning and developing innovative solutions to manage spares planning. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of parts and data required to meet business needs across various data centers within Americas. This position focuses on managing exception orders, proactively identifying and closing operational gaps, and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize processes and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
Exception order management:
- Place and manage exception orders for parts address supply shortages or forecast/target misses.
- Monitor stock levels and demand forecasts to proactively identify potential gaps and ensure timely replenishment.
Proactive Gap Closure:
- Collaborate across functions (logistics, data center operations, procurement, and planning) to identify and address gaps in part availability, part movement, or data accuracy.
- Develop strategies to close gaps by aligning resources and optimizing workflows to prevent future disruptions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Process Streamlining:
- Work closely with internal teams to review and improve existing workflows, driving process efficiencies that enhance part movement and replenishment.
- Lead efforts to streamline processes related to Logistics, replenishment planning and inventory management, ensuring faster resolution and smoother operations.
Metrics review and availability misses:
- Regularly review and monitor performance metrics such as part availability, logistics adherence, and site replenishment performance.
- Conduct thorough reviews of availability misses, analyze root-causes, and develop corrective actions to avoid recurring issues.
Continuous improvement and optimization:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions that enhance supply chain performance.
- Support the development and implementation of best practices across the organization to strengthen the overall supply chain framework.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related disciplines, or 4+ additional years of related experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, in lieu of a degree
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience working cross-functionally to streamline processes and drive operational improvements.
- Familiarity with managing metrics, identifying gaps, and closing processes inefficiencies related to logistics and supply chain workflows.
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau) for reviewing supply chain performance metrics and identifying gaps.
- Experience with Data Center Environment.
- Experience in managing large-scale supply chain projects within a fast-paced environment.
