As a member of the Human Resources Team, the New Hire Facilitator serves as a role model to all PCL team members. The primary focus of this position is ensuring that new hires complete their required training. This includes classroom, web based, on the job training, and core competencies. This position ensures that training is mission focused, incorporates Adult Learning Principles, and is timely. They have a strong work ethic, with a high standard for success. They act in a professional and ethical manner. They understand that the team members of and people supported by PCL are their customers and will treat everyone they interact with in a dignified and respectful manner.
Wage & Benefits: $19.50 per hour

Skills and Qualifications:
-Must be at least 18 years of age when starting employment.
-Must have and show basic computer skills and can learn agency applications.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
-Well-organized and attentive to detail.
-Cooperative and willing to learn.
-Ability to interpret various instructions.
-Enhanced math skills – must be able to accurately balance a budget and basic math transactions.

-PCL’s Team members must have dependable, reliable, and regular work attendance, and must adhere to attendance policies.
Job Duties:
-Create engaging learning experiences that align with PCL’s mission and values, support our people's growth, and ensure we remain compliant with industry standards.
-Welcoming new team members and guiding them through their first day of employment and following orientation trainings.
-Responding to emergent needs of the classroom as they come up.
-Conducting trainings as required and serving as a backup trainer as needed.
-Data entry of new hire orientation documentation, including managing timesheets.
-Assist other trainers with set up/materials for classes, including after hours orientation.
-Constantly strive to promote a positive view of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through words and action.
Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift and transfer 25 pounds minimum.
-Appropriately and efficiently responding to emergencies and/or crises.
Certifications and Training:

-Complete and maintain all certifications as required by the position, PCL, and other governing agencies.
-Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in CPR (training provided if hired).
-Complete all duties related to being a Mandatory Abuse Reporter.
-New hire orientation and on-site training must be completed within 60 days of hire.
