OVERVIEW
Alo is looking for a Director of Analytics to own and optimize data governance across our digital commerce platforms, driving robust web & mobile app performance insights to inform business enhancements. This individual should be a thought leader on digital analytics, privacy & industry trends (browser cookie depreciation, first party data, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with digital product & engineering to implement advanced analytics & tracking capabilities across all digital properties.
- Responsible for data integrity by owning all web & mobile analytics data sources & tag management, continuously optimizing & auditing.
- Own & advance our server-side, mobile app & headless tracking set-up
- Collect, clean & manipulate data – use of SQL & fundamentals of data engineering
- Spearhead advanced digital analytics initiatives related to identity and clickstream data.
- Operate as internal expert for GA4 and any other digital analytics tools
- Lead team in optimizing daily/weekly/monthly product insights, informing consumer journey enhancements and reporting on the subsequent performance impact
- Guide team focused on A/B testing & personalization efforts, instilling culture of disciplined statistical analysis.
- Guide team on customer journey analysis, heat mapping, session recording and user research best practices
- Work closely with our technology team to ensure best practices across cookie consent management (CCPA, GDPR, etc)
- Directly manage a team of analysts to execute across supported channels.
- Motivate and drive a continuous performance-based culture within the team
- Actively maintain and build a culture of learning, respect, transparency, and trust
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of professional data science analytics experience at a high growth company or ecommerce business
- Minimum of 4 years a people manager
- Deep familiarity with Google Analytics, GA360, GA4, Adobe Analytics
- Experience with analytics & tracking platforms such as Segment, Rudderstack
- Deep familiarity with tagging tools (GTM, Tealium, Adobe etc.)
- Experience utilizing a customer journey analysis tool (Mixpanel, Heap, Quantum Metric, Full Story etc)
- Significant experience utilizing data warehouse or CDP to consolidate customer profiles & utilize across owned digital channels
- Well-versed in advanced statistical analysis techniques and leveraging BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
- Demonstrated leadership experience, willing to coach & develop team of high performers
- Strong desire to collaborate cross-functionally, understanding varying objectives across business
- This position requires you to be in Los Angeles and work onsite full-time
The base salary range for this position is $180,000-$225,00 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
