About Books + Records
Books + Records is a neighborhood bar + restaurant nestled in the heart of Bankers Hill. Through the lens of globally inspired American cuisine and carefully crafted cocktails, Books + Records provides an energetic, hospitality-focused experience, whether you are joining us for an excellent burger and a cold beer, or for a multi-course meal with all of the flourishes. We operate with a scratch kitchen, crafting comforting, nostalgic American cuisine, married with flourishes from across our travels. Offering daily happy hour, weekend brunch, and dinner 5 nights a week, Books + Records is the neighborhood joint crafted from our hearts and dreams.
The Position: LINE COOK (full time and part time available)
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
• Arrives to all shifts on time and ready to work

• You have previous Line Cook experience.
