OverviewThis role is primarily responsible for leading, managing, and improving our Global Performance Management and Talent Management processes and supporting technology (Oracle HCM). This individual will manage resources, training, and communication enabling HR and Learning & Development partners to execute on global and local Performance and Talent processes. In addition, the individual in this role will seek to mature our Talent Management practices and improve operational efficiency. Reporting to the Director of Talent & HR Transformation, he/she will be responsible for driving and supporting multiple projects and change management initiatives.
How you'll make an impact- Managing, administering, and ongoing improvement of global Performance and Talent Management processes and resources
- Partnering with HR Business partners across our businesses to provide Talent Management expertise and drive adoption of our talent management technologies.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve operational efficiency, utilization of shared services, and/or for greater efficiency and transparency.
- Leading talent management process integration for ongoing acquisitions
- Developing and implementing change management and communication strategies to enable the success of key talent management initiatives.
- Providing project management support for a variety of HR projects
- Building and expanding Talent Management support capability within Gallagher’s global shared services center of excellence.
About YouRequired:
- Bachelor's degree; 6-7 years experience leading new/early talent development programs or related structured development programming.
- Ability to network inside and outside of Gallagher to establish relationships in support of the goals of the position.
- Ability to develop clear and concise written plans that present a compelling vision for the evolution of the program in line with the strategy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills utilizing data and structured methodologies.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills necessary.
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources, business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 7 years progressive Human Resources and/or Management Consulting experience including talent management, organization development, mergers and acquisitions, and/or change management.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communicator, experience communicating technical and business concepts to a global employee population using varied communication vehicles.
- Solid project management skills and experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of MS Project, MS Visio or similar project management and process tools.
- Experience in a Human Capital Consulting / Professional Services environment is highly advantageous.
- Experience working on a global scale and/or in the Insurance or Financial Services industry desired.
- Adaptability and demonstrated ability to quickly shift gears from developing strategy & plans to dealing with operational matters.
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities, lead cross divisional teams and adapt to changing requirements and environment with limited oversight.
- Demonstrated strengths in design, development and delivery of high-impact talent solutions, and associated change management, to achieve business objectives.
- Has excellent presence and ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization as well as drive impact without direct authority.
- Oracle Human Capital Management experience preferred.
