Are you ready to join us in fighting HIV?
Bridge HIV at the San Francisco Department of Public Health is conducting research with the National Institute of Health and we are now enrolling for a new paid HIV vaccine study!
Historically, vaccines have been one of the most effective ways for preventing disease & infection. We want to find one that can prevent HIV. Participate in a research study to help us find a vaccine for HIV prevention.
The purpose of this study is to see if the study vaccine and study adjuvant are safe, if people are able to take them without discomfort, and how a person’s immune system responds to them. This study is the first to look at these research questions with these products, and we do not expect to find a vaccine for HIV based on this study alone.
Participants will be in this study for about 4 to 4½ months of clinic visits, with a follow-up contact about 1 year after their final injection to check on their health. Eligible participants will be paid up to a total of $1075-1475 depending on what group they are in.
You may be eligible to participate if:
• Are 18-55 years old,
• Little to no sexual activity
• Not living with HIV
Eligible participants can receive $100-$175 per visit after screening.
