Northwestern Medical Center's mission is to provide exceptional healthcare for our community and we are currently recruiting for a Full-time MRI Technologist opportunity.
EXPECTED HOURS/SHIFT: Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly), generally Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
JOB SUMMARY:
The MRI Technologist performs MRI examinations in accordance with ACR accreditation practice guidelines and NMC protocols. The Technologist may also perform examinations, within the scope of practice, in which they hold additional certification and have determined competency. The MRI Technologist works under the guidance and direct supervision of the MRI Supervisor.
PREREQUISITES
Experience: Preferred Experienced Radiologic Technologist of 1-2 years cross trained in MRI.
Education:
ARRT, ARMRIT or CAMRT registered as an MR technologist OR
- ARRT registered or unlimited state license and 6 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience OR
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in allied health field and certification in another clinical imaging field (such as ARDMS or NMTCB) and 6 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience.
Certifications: BLS required, IV Certification required
