Shift:Monday to Friday 7:00 AM To 3:30 PM
Role and responsibilities:
· Handle customer inquiries regarding ocean freight and trucking services, rates, shipment status, and schedules.
· Act as the main point of contact for customers from booking through delivery.
· Provide timely and accurate updates on shipment progress, including estimated delivery times and potential delays.
· Assist customers with booking freight services, including ocean and inland trucking transport.
· Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and warehouses to ensure efficient movement of goods.
· Maintain accurate records of shipments in the company’s tracking system.
· Address and resolve customer complaints, shipment issues, and delays.
· Ensure all documentation (bill of lading, invoices, etc.) is accurate and compliant with international shipping regulations.
Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service
· Provide feedback to sales and operations teams regarding customer needs and expectations.
Required qualifications:
· 2+ years’ experience
· Bilingual
· Familiarity with ocean freight and trucking operations
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft office ( Word, Excel) and experience with transportation management systems (TMS) or similar software.
