These positions are ENTRY LEVEL, full-time (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday. Our operating hours are from 7:30am-4pm, there is only one shift and overtime is occasionally available.

We primarily manufacture equipment and supplies for the pet grooming industry which includes hair dryers, clippers, shampoos, cologne and conditioners as well as leather and wood care products sold worldwide. STARTING wage of $17.28 per hour depending on experience/skill.
Job Overview: The Janitor plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively to ensure a safe and organized workspace for all employees.
Responsibilities:
1. General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas of the manufacturing facility, including production floors, restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces.
2. Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and other waste materials in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ensure proper segregation and disposal of different types of waste to maintain a clean and environmentally friendly workspace.
3. Sanitization: Clean and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment. Pay special attention to high-touch areas and sensitive equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
4. Restroom Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards in restrooms by cleaning and disinfecting toilets, sinks, mirrors, and other fixtures regularly. Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed to ensure uninterrupted availability.
5. Floor Care: Perform floor care duties such as mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and buffing to maintain clean and polished floors throughout the facility. Use appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions to achieve desired results while adhering to safety protocols.
6. Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of cleaning equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any malfunctioning equipment or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor for timely resolution.
7. Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others. Follow company policies regarding personal protective equipment (PPE), chemical handling, and emergency protocols.
8. Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members regarding cleaning schedules, inventory needs, maintenance issues, and any other relevant information to ensure smooth operations and collaboration within the facility.
Working Conditions:
• This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and other potentially hazardous materials may occur, requiring adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
