What You'll Do:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our growing tech team. You will be given designs and use these to implement new features aimed at enhancing user experience and overall site functionality, while also optimizing performance. Additionally, you'll integrate third-party services and APIs, debug and troubleshoot issues across the development stack, and work alongside senior developers to ensure project goals are met on time. Please note that this position is based at our HQ in Salt Lake City, UT.
How You'll Help Us Win:
- Build new features for Traeger.com and help maintain and update our component library
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Refactor and update old components to utilize Tailwind and Typescript and add unit tests
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct UI/UX issues and application bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Programming experience in JavaScript.
- Understanding of web fundamentals including HTML & CSS
- Minimum 1 year of React experience
- Ability to write clean, functional, and reusable code for both the front-end and back-end of the website or other internal applications
Nice to Have:
- Experience with integrations, REST APIs, GraphQL, Node.js preferred
- Experience working with a CMS like Contentful, Amplience or Storyblok
- Knowledge of Typescript
- Background in Ecommerce development
- Experience working with Next.js.
- Working with React Testing Library and Jest
- Understanding of Tailwind CSS
