Job Overview:
The Director of Operations will play a key leadership role in overseeing and driving the operational success of our multi-unit restaurant chain. The ideal candidate will have extensive multi-unit management experience, a proven track record of operational and financial success, and a passion for developing and implementing systems that support growth and efficiency. The candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to Madison, WI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all restaurant locations, ensuring operational excellence and consistency.
- Develop and implement scalable systems, processes, and frameworks to support growth and efficiency across multiple units.
- Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
- Drive operational improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for continued growth and expansion.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and health regulations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in guest service, operations, and cost control.
- Work closely with other departments, including marketing, HR, and finance, to align operational strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of restaurant experience.
- Proven experience in a multi-unit restaurant management role.
- Demonstrated success in operational and financial management, including P&L responsibility.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embrace the challenges of a growing organization.
