The Staff Failure Analysis Engineer will be responsible for working with the different teams to identify failure modes and possible test methods to detect them at the initial development phase, then explore test methods to conduct validation, create and obtain data and do a deep analysis of the cause of a failure and the possible solutions for it.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct thorough and detailed failure analysis investigations by leveraging extensive expertise and scientific knowledge to address complex issues across all systems, modules, and components of our vehicle.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with various engineering departments to understand their failure analysis requirements, aid in issue replication/simulation, and inform them about the capabilities of our failure analysis and materials testing labs.
- Take charge of failure analysis processes for situations stemming from reliability tests, product development, and robots already in use, ensuring that the primary cause is distinguished from secondary factors.
- Design, guide, and co-create testing methods and procedures for new and existing technologies.
- Organize, manage, and carry out tests to aid in achieving critical milestones for vehicle projects.
