Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary: Reports to the Chief Executive Officer. Coordinates, supervises and directs all medical staff functions in the department. Provides liaison to the Medical Staff and Administration regarding all aspects of credentialing, committee work and bylaws and rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications:- Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, Title 22 and CMS regulations for the Medical Staff
- CPMSM Certification by NAMSS
- At least three years' experience as a Director or Medical Staff Coordinator with supervisory responsibility
- Experience with minute-taking, meeting preparation and follow-up
- Experience with coordination of medical education programs
- Knowledge of credentialing and recredentialing Medical Staff and AHP Staff practitioners in a hospital medical staff setting
- Visual acuity and auditory acuity necessary for the performance of duties
- Ability to manipulate files and papers
- Ability to use Xerox machine
- Manual dexterity required to operate computer and word processing equipment
- Ability to lift files or objects weighing up to 15 lbs
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
