Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher at Commercial Meat Co to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for and a strong background in meat preparation. At Commercial Meat Co, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our meat products. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Cut, trim, and prepare specific meat cuts by the portion
• Experience cutting specialty cuts of beef such as Ribeye, New York, Porterhouse, Filets, Top Sirloins and more.
• Ensure all meat products are handled and stored following food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area.
• Package and label meat products using CVP Machine and Layer Packing
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of quality in food production.
Experience
• Previous experience in cutting meat by the portion/ounce is required.
• Strong skills in meat cutting techniques and knowledge of various cuts of meat.
• Familiarity with food preparation processes and safety practices is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Day shift
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
Experience:
• Food processing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Meat cutting: 2 years (Required)
