Role Overview:
As the Regional Manager for Transportation, you will be the driving force behind the transportation strategy and operations in your market, owning its financial performance and overall success. This role puts you in charge of key market initiatives-launching new merchants, optimizing transport programs, and ensuring that both quality and cost targets are met. You'll build and maintain strong partnerships with carriers and Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) to ensure seamless execution of last-mile deliveries.
This is a high-impact role where you'll be at the forefront of market expansion, collaborating with cross-functional teams across operations, sales, technology, and more. With your deep understanding of the transportation landscape, you'll be a key player in identifying opportunities, improving processes, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L for your region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own your market's transportation business: Take charge of financial performance and drive results across the board.
- Operational excellence: Ensure a seamless customer experience through a strong focus on key performance indicators (KPIs), both quantitative and qualitative.
- Build and manage DSP networks: Create and maintain strong partnerships with delivery service providers.
- Coordinate mid-mile and last-mile operations: Work closely with the mid-mile team to manage shipments and pickups, while collaborating with fulfillment teams on route launches.
- Optimize routing: Assist the routing team in planning efficient delivery routes for DSPs.
- Problem-solve and report: Proactively address delivery issues, fleet challenges, and DSPs payments to maintain smooth operations.
- Compliance and continuous improvement: Ensure adherence to transportation policies and safety regulations, while researching and implementing cost-effective methods to elevate the transportation strategy.
Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of experience in North American transportation.
- Strong experience managing third-party DSPs.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation and safety regulations (especially in Florida).
- Expertise in routing and scheduling deliveries to ensure operational efficiency.
- Fluency in English, with solid communication skills in Spanish.
- Highly organized, with a problem-solving mindset and the drive to go above and beyond to find solutions.
