We are looking for a competent and experienced CNC machinist. Under the general supervision of the Shop Forman, the CNC Machinist Sets up and runs CNC machinery for 3, 4, and HAAS 5th-axis, Hass vertical Mills, and HAAS Lathe. Coordinates with Estimating, Production, and Quality Teams to ensure performance and quality. Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence. We rely on our skilled employees and dynamic shop to help bring innovative concepts to life.
Essential Functions:
• Consult with Planning, Quality, and Production to determine the best machining steps and methods.
• Performing verification of part programs to ensure resultant data will produce the product to quality and customer requirements.
• Set up machines for operators to run.
• Must have Mastercam/fusion/ or equivalent.
• Prepares work by reviewing and analyzing blueprints, specifications, other technical documents, and customer requests.
• Interact daily with production, quality, operations, and management.
• Ability to take on technical challenges and deal with complexity.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Must know CAD (Solid works Preferred) Use of a 2D or 3D programming software.
