The Data Entry/Inventory Clerk is responsible for control of parts issued to technicians for truck stock, service calls and installations. This role requires the ability to plan and manage inventory and part requisition in a timely and effective manner. This position coordinates with daily operations for the service department, which involves constant communication with management and coworkers within the department.
The ideal candidate is engaged, highly organized and effective in time management and a strong communicator.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Ensure parts are received, documented and staged for upcoming installations, service or placed into inventory.
• Updates all information within the software required for proper inventroy control.
• Communicates with field technicians and ensures the technician is provided with parts required for successful completion of the service call or installation.
• Completes all required reports and paperwork associated with inventory and parts, including RMA returns or service repairs.
• Prepares accurate and timely reports as required.
• Provides day-to-day support within the service department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• One year previous office experience. Experience in inventory control is a plus
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
