Responsibilities:
- Excellent written work product for trial, appellate, and board matters.
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, and pleadings.
- Assist in case preparation and management for various practice areas.
- Participate in negotiations and settlements.
- Identify and advance sound, reliable, and winning oral arguments with complete command of legal authorities.
- Prepare and examine witnesses.
- Utilize writing skills to prepare correspondence and legal documents.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Grow productive relationships with courts, counsel, clients, and every member of the team.
- Timely and accurate client reporting.
Qualifications:
Attorneys must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas with a preference of at least 7 years of experience. Experience with health care litigation is not required but definitely a plus.
- Licensed in the State of Texas.
- Eager to serve healthcare providers.
- Strong foundation in legal research.
- Collaborative minded, desiring office interaction as part of a growing team.
- Excellent writing and legal drafting skills.
- 7+ years of experience preferred.
