Divine Vintage is a wine bar and vintage clothing store on Montana Avenue. We are looking for a hard working self sufficient kitchen manager to launch our new menu, which is small bites, salads and heavy on charcuterie. Our kitchen is small so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working alone, fast and can place orders, manage inventory and follow recipes.
We are looking for someone who has:
3+ years of Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor experience
Ability to communicate in a clear, conscious way to all team members.
Ability to understand what people are asking, and provide insight without attitude or ego. Helping to positively problem solve and offering solutions and support where necessary.
Must be able to train subordinate cooks and the kitchen staff.
Have teaching strategies that convey information clearly and in an accessible manner.
Inventory knowledge
Systems-oriented, with experience recognizing the need for and creation of systems
Ability to utilize provided tech and software for management and reporting
Valid ServSafe Manager Certification
Proven track record of employee retention and training
Means to get to work on time
Ability to speak Spanish is helpful
