Petes Autohaus is looking to hire someone that works well with others, has a great attitude, loves the automotive business, is willing to learn and grow with the company. We are a European car repair servicing Mercedes Benz, BMW, Mini Cooper & Audi vehicles. We have been in business for 31 years. We provide Quality, Honesty & Trustworthy Service to our customers.
All duties below are included but not limited to shop helper position:
1) Keep shop area clean including sweeping, mopping floors, wiping down equipment, organizing all areas, washing down doors, keeping parking lot clean, cleaning customer restrooms & employee restrooms, putting away tools Etc…
2) Checking in parts and putting them away, taking inventory of parts, returning defective or unused parts to vendors, picking up parts from vendors.
3) Washing customer vehicles, vacuuming and cleaning inside, waxing in certain cases.
4) Giving customer rides home, running errands for shop supplies, tools or equipment or vehicle repairs etc…
5) Open and Close the shop, taking and bringing in vehicles, opening and closing bay doors. Locking of all vehicles.
6) Helping technicians when needed.
7) Test driving customer vehicles.
8) Servicing and maintaining shop equipment.
9) Working in the office filing, moving boxes, keeping office & customer waiting rooms clean etc…
