About the Role:
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will provide hands-on support for our veterinarians and clients. Your day-to-day duties will include:
• Maintaining medical records.
• Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.
• Filling prescriptions.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone with:
• Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, technician, or in a similar animal care role (strong preference, but not required).
• A passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
• Strong communication skills to interact with both clients and team members.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a busy clinic setting.
• A positive attitude, team spirit, and a willingness to learn and grow in the veterinary field.
What We Offer:
• A competitive wage, paid vacation, and professional development are offered. Compensation: $20 – $29 / hour negotiable based on location, education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
