The Healthy Living Strategic Partnerships Lead will be responsible for the overall monetization strategy for the Healthy Living team. They will lead all healthy merchandising and FoodCare (Food as Medicine) initiatives, with the goal of driving healthy food sales, FoodCare revenue and solidifying Stop & Shop's position as the preferred local retailer for comprehensive 'Food as Health' programs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a comprehensive Healthy Living monetization strategy that includes: Shopper Marketing programs (Our Picks), health focused displays, workplace wellness programs (B2B) and Nutrition Incentive Solutions (produce rx, health benefit cards, medically tailored groceries etc.)
- Seek, acquire, and manage new healthcare, employer, NPO, CPG & community partnerships that incentivize members for healthy food purchases, driving new business to Stop & Shop.
- Manage community partnerships and FoodCare programs that increase food access, food affordability and promote community health.
- Serve as the internal SME on health benefit cards. Collaborate with healthcare partners to market our services to their members. Educate & train store associates on various programs to ensure customer satisfaction & in-store experience. Work with marketing on campaigns to drive awareness of programs.
- Manage health-focused merchandising programs ("Our Picks", healthy endcap, healthy check out etc.) with the goal of elevating better for you brands, increasing healthy food sales & acquiring program revenue.
- Manage 'Our Picks' vendor partnership program through establishing & nurturing strategic and authentic vendor partnerships while optimizing merchandising and marketing tactics. Seeks to expand program, while pursuing additional opportunities for monetization.
- Identify opportunities to drive sales Healthy Food Sales (Guiding Stars).
- Collaborate with Pharmacy team to develop and execute "Our Health Experts Recommend" program, while seeking strategic vendor partnership and program revenue.
- In partnership with Marketing and Merchandising teams, serve as a Healthy Living SME to grow Stop & Shop's in-store Healthy Living presence through strategy and marketing tactics (healthy end-caps, healthy check-out aisles, health messaging etc.)
- Measure impact/ROI of health-focused merch programs, ensuring proper KPIs, measurement, and reporting to Stop & Shop's leadership.
- Inspire better for you product development & provides assortment recommendations.
- Responsible for handling all accounting, processing and invoicing of Healthy Living vendor partnership programs.
- Keeps current on nutrition topics and customer trends.
- Represent company at professional meetings, conference and trade shows.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Public Health or related field
• Registered Dietitian preferred
Experience
• 5-7 years of nutrition or public health related experience
• 3-5 sales and/or business development experience
• Grocery retail experience strongly preferred

Travel
A reliable vehicle is required for this position and be willing to drive between store locations when needed. Occasional evenings & weekends might be needed for special programming & events.
The starting salary is $104,400 and will be commensurate with background, experience as well as internal equity.
