This role in summaryWhirlpool is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Manager, Data Analytics position within the Consumer Services Strategy & Operations team. This role will be located at our Riverview Campus, in Benton Harbor MI.
This role is critical to the development of the Consumer Experience for the Consumer Services organization so that all levels of the organization can quickly understand performance and drive intelligent business decisions using data. This role is responsible for defining the required data architecture, modeling, and data preparation necessary to enable data analytics throughout the Consumer Services organization. The ideal candidate will have strong data management abilities, exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to derive meaningful data-driven insights.
Relocation available for eligible candidates Your responsibilities will includePrimary: - Data architect. Designs data architectures and ETL (extract, transform, and load) workflows to support CS data and reporting requirements.
- Data steward. Maintains data quality and availability of Consumer Services data. Develop, measure, and improve KPIs (key performance indicators related to data management, quality, availability, and governance. Understand root causes of data and reporting system issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Data analysis. Integrate data from multiple sources and analyze large and complex data sets using statistical methods to extract insights and identify patterns.
- Project management. Manage data science projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality results. Communicate with business stakeholders on requirements and updates.
- Stakeholder Collaboration. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand KPIz, reporting requirements, and projects to improve data-driven decision-making.
Secondary:- Data reporting. Generates ad hoc and standard datasets or reports for end-users using system tools and databases or data warehouse queries and scripts.
- Data visualization. Communicates insights and findings through compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports. Present insights and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Data modeling. Support Consumer Services efforts to build predictive models to enable data-driven decision-making and drive business strategy.
Minimum requirements- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience in data visualization, data analytics, or data management
- 1+ years of experience in ETL tools such as Informatica, or SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- 1+ years of experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
- 1+ years of experience with Relational Databases such as SAP Hana or SQL
Preferred skills and experiences- Master's Degree in Business, Consumer Services, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Computer Science
- Experience with business intelligence tools, preferably Tableau
- Experience with Google scripts and HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language)
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated strong communications skills at all levels of the organization
- Work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent time management, prioritization abilities, and process management
- Consistently deliver results through direct and indirect influence
