JOB SUMMARY: This position will be working with our administration team during our harvest season in Turlock. Assist the and processing documentation related to farm payroll, recruitment, layoffs and safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Process applications and new/rehire packets including W4 & I9 paperwork
• Compile Time-In-Attendance for weekly payroll processing.
• Assist with distribution of payroll checks.
• Assist with monthly reporting as needed.
• Prepare end of season reports for bonus and payroll payout.
• Assist other farm locations with Admin. duties during harvest or as needed.
• Maintain site Inventory Log and work with accounting department to resolve discrepancies.
• Work with Accounts Payable to order all supplies needed.
• Answer the telephone and assist walk-ins.
• Assist and document all safety related activity (meetings, First Aid, Injury/Illness).
• Ensure safety rules, guidelines and procedures are communicated to farm management.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have oral communication skills in English or Spanish.
• Working knowledge of computers, phones, fax machines, printer/copies and excel program
• Be a self-starter and can work in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work up to 10-hour days
• Sit/stand for long periods of time
• Ability to pull/push/reach/bend
