Type of Employment: Contract
Role & Responsibilities: - Creating, updating, and maintaining pipe material specifications.
- Use of Microsoft Office tools to produce documents and calculations.
- Work with systems and commodity engineers to understand needs and create new specifications.
- Interface with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tool owners and integrate pipe specifications into the design process.
Qualifications / Requirements: - Must have an Engineering degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
- Must have Canadian P. Eng License
- Experience with the selection, classification, and procurement of piping commodities such as pipe, tubing, fittings, valves, and inline components.
- Knowledge of ASME Section III and B31.1 piping analysis minimal wall calculations.
- Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and other pipe/component specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
