Improving Cambodia’s Society through Skillful Parenting (ICS-SP) is a national nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the well-being of children and women in Cambodia. We empower families through our Skillful Parenting and Financial Literacy programs, addressing critical social issues such as violence prevention and family well-being.
Position Summary
ICS-SP is seeking a part-time Donor Relationship Manager to support our fundraising efforts. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for international development and experience in donor engagement. The Donor Relationship Manager will work closely with our Executive Director to build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors, secure new funding, and ensure effective communication and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Donor Engagement and Communication
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing donors through personalized communication and regular updates.
- Craft targeted outreach materials, newsletters, and donor briefs to communicate ICS-SP’s impact effectively.
- Proposal and Report Writing
- Write compelling proposals to secure funding from institutional and individual donors.
- Draft concise, impact-driven reports to keep donors informed of project developments and achievements.
- Research and Prospecting
- Conduct research to identify new funding opportunities that align with ICS-SP’s mission.
- Monitor funding trends, donor priorities, and other NGOs' successful strategies.
- Event Coordination and Donor Visits
- Organize and manage virtual events, in-person donor meetings, and potential site visits.
- Collaborate with ICS-SP staff to showcase the organization’s impact and increase donor engagement.
- Strategy Development
- Contribute to the development of a donor engagement strategy with realistic fundraising goals.
- Track progress and help create a calendar for timely donor outreach.
Qualifications
- Native or fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in donor relations, fundraising, or grant writing, preferably within the nonprofit or development sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build and maintain donor relationships.
- Familiarity with Cambodian social development context and funding landscape is an asset.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and, ideally, familiarity with donor management software or CRM tools.
