Job Description:
As a Truck Driver / Team Lead at Yeastie Boys, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of your truck’s daily operations. From managing your crew to handling customer interactions, inventory, and food preparation, you’re in charge of making sure everything runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Driving and Truck Management:
Safely drive the truck to and from our commissary, ensuring you’re fully stocked and prepared for the day’s service.
Perform routine checks, refuel, restock, and ensure the truck is in perfect condition before and after each shift.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise, whether it’s truck-related or involves last-minute supply needs.
Crew Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of 1-3 crew members (cashiers, line cooks) to ensure efficiency, organization, and quality service.
Train your team on food prep, customer service, and truck cleanliness, making sure everything meets Yeastie Boys standards.
Customer Interaction:
Interact with customers, handle orders, transactions, and ensure everyone leaves satisfied with their experience.
Expedite orders and manage the customer flow, maintaining a high level of service during peak times.
Food Prep and Service:
Lead food preparation and cooking, ensuring everything is made to order with quality and speed.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to keep the truck clean, organized, and running efficiently.
Qualifications:
Experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
A valid driver’s license and experience driving commercial vehicles is preferred.
Availability for early morning shifts, weekends, with the ability to handle a fast-paced workday.
