Cashier
As a cashier, you’ll be the face of our restaurant, greeting guests with a smile and ensuring their orders are accurate. You’ll handle transactions, assist with menu questions, and leave every guest with a positive impression of our barbecue experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests in-person and over the phone with warmth and friendliness.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions.
• Take and place orders; upsell menu items and promotions.
• Ensure food presentation meets company standards before handing off orders.
• Balance the register at the end of your shift.
• Keep the dining area clean, stocked, and inviting.
Key Skills/Abilities:
• Strong communication and cash handling skills.
• Positive attitude, even during busy hours.
• Customer service experience preferred.
Prep Cook
Our prep cooks are the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From chopping fresh vegetables to preparing our signature sauces, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our food top-notch.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and portion guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the prep area.
• Assist cooks by stocking and preparing ingredients in advance.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
Key Skills/Abilities:
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
Cook
Our cooks bring the heart of Texas barbecue to life, smoking meats to perfection and crafting plates that keep our guests coming back for more.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Smoke meats and cook sides according to company recipes and standards.
• Ensure food is prepared and plated with attention to detail.
• Monitor and maintain equipment for proper operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Key Skills/Abilities:
• Experience with barbecue smoking and grilling techniques is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Commitment to quality and consistency in every dish.
