Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
Stock Replenishment: Regularly monitor inventory levels and restock products, including coffee beans, provisions, milk, china, glassware, napkins, and other supplies as needed.
Space Maintenance: Maintenance of café area ensuring a clean, organized, and inviting area for members and their guests. This may includes cleaning tables, chairs, countertops, shelves, and restrooms throughout the day.
Back of House: Ensure that shelves, refrigerators, and storage areas are well-organized and stocked, making it easy for the team to access necessary supplies.
Back of House: Communicate inventory needs with the Assistant General Manager on cadence set my campus leadership.
Waste Management: Regularly empty and clean coffee machines, empty trash bins and recycling containers, ensuring the space remains clean and clutter-free.
Customer Service Support: Assist customers with locating products or supplies (e.g., grab-and-go items) and support moments of surprise and delight Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, specialty salads, sandwiches, and provisions to members with exceptional service.
Here's what we're looking for:
Previous previous busser or maintenance experience at a cafe or restaurant is a plus. We may be able to train in some cases for the right candidate.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a proactive.
Remarkable customer service skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
Strong and efficient communication skills.
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions:
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Frequent bending, squatting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Will require daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
Exposure to varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
The anticipated rate of pay for this position is $20.00 an hour
