Pastry / Baker helper
Siena deli looking for entry level Cookis Maker / Baker for our busy season.
Typical hours are 6 am to 3pm., or 7to tree pm
Job Requirements:
- Follow established recipes to ensure delicious and consistent cakes
- Making desserts for dessert bars and some plated desserts
- Prepping pans, baking cakes, prepping cakes for stacking
- Baking Breads and cookies
- Ensures proper amount of ingredients on hand to meet orders, placing orders with suppliers and popping out to the store occasionally.
- Make sure that the kitchen is maintained with pristine cleanliness.
Other Skills/Experience required:
- Experience in a pastry department preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to see what is needed to be done with little direction.
- Able to prioritize tasks with a teamwork focus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Able to stand, walk, climb stairs throughout shift. Ability to lift to 50 pounds
