Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales - Manufacturing, the Strategic ERP Alliance Manager will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing strategic alliances with ERP partners across three ERP portfolios of ECI's Manufacturing Division. This role will involve driving partner-influenced and referral programs to achieve business growth and ensure seamless integration with our core values. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team and cross-functional units to develop and execute go-to-market strategies to positively influence selections by decision-makers across 3rd party partners and consultants in the batch & process and discrete manufacturing industries, while also identifying and expanding partnerships with relevant trade association within the industry. This role is remote and located in the U.S.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Ownership: Take ownership of relationships with assigned strategic ERP partners, fostering collaborative engagement, and further strengthening the relationships and developing initiatives for mutual growth.
- Strategic Partnership Growth: Identify, nurture and solidify new relationships and partnerships with ERP partners ranging from 3rd party consultants to involvement with securing memberships with strategically important trade associations.
- Sales Targets: Dynamically manage the 3rd party relationships to deliver optimum results ensuring partner success and excitement, while successfully delivering monthly/quarterly sales targets to drive revenue growth and meet/exceed financial objectives.
- Annual Business Strategy Development: Work closely with assigned strategic ERP partners to set the annual business strategy. Collaboratively define goals, objectives, and execution plans to achieve business targets, ensuring alignment with our core values.
- Partner Governance: Implement effective partner governance measures to maintain a structured and productive partnership. This includes regular check-ins, performance assessments, and strategic adjustments to maximize partnership outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor partnership performance, tracking key metrics and leveraging data insights to make informed decisions that drive mutual success.
- Collaboration with Direct Sales Organization: Collaborate closely with the direct sales organization to ensure that partner referral leads are followed up on and measured. Foster a streamlined and effective process for lead management and follow-up to maximize conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring they align with partner strategies and contribute to the overarching goals.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of strategic alliance management experience (Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred), including a proven track record of developing and nurturing partnerships with ERP partners.
- Strong sales and business development expertise, with at least 3 years of experience driving revenue growth through partner-driven channels.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in negotiation, financial acumen, and analytical skills, which are vital for partnership success.
- Ability to travel up to 25 - 30%.
