Nutrien Ag Solutions is the world's largest crop input company, providing materials to farmers around the world. Located just outside of Keizer, we are looking for a motivated team player to add to our operations team, where attention to detail, safety, reliability, and communication are key.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ship, receive, process, and verify orders
• Maintains and accounts for inventory
• Providing excellent customer service to growers and the community
• Compliance with all Safety, Environmental and Operating Standards
• Competent operation of all plant systems including computer programs
• Monitors and oversees quality control of the blended product
• Help with blending of Liquid fertilizers
• Engages in Preventative Maintenance Program on equipment
• To load or assist in loading and unloading trucks or trailers
• To handle company owned equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Setting up equipment
• Housekeeping duties
• To be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds
• Operate Forklift
• Other duties as assigned
Application Support
Desired skills:
• Detail oriented
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, math, and organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
Qualifications:
• Valid driver's license is required
• Must use tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers
• Must be responsible with equipment and vehicles
• Have general knowledge of warehouse procedures
• Ability to work Saturdays and overtime hours required
• Must be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely
• As a safety-sensitive employee, must pass substance abuse screening, and subject to random and other required substance abuse screening as per company policy.
• Ability to read and write English
• Experience in agriculture is desired, but not required
