ResponsibilitiesWorkato is seeking a passionate and creative team member to join our growing Corporate Marketing Team as the Senior Manager of Customer Marketing & Engagement Programs. This person will be focused on scaling and driving strategic executive engagement and programs to champion, activate, and expand our customer community. You’ll execute programs that showcase our outstanding customers, build deeper connections, support customer listening programs, and promote customer advocacy internally and externally. Partnering with the Senior Director of Customer Marketing and Strategic Engagement, this role will be at the forefront of elevating our customer community.
Deliver powerful customer stories. You will drive the execution of our customer program, which identifies and shares our customers' successes through multiple mediums and develops customer advocates across industries, segments, and markets. Working with our customers and our internal teams, you’ll create powerful customer engagement and spotlight programs and help to identify, collect, and craft powerful stories that will inspire, motivate, and educate.
Champion customers and create community programs. Create compelling customer executive engagement journeys that include stories, awards, speaking engagements, experiences, and co-marketing opportunities. Inspire our customer community with strategic communications across platforms and partner with leaders across Workato to create best-in-class experiences for customers.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of those efforts identifying, crafting, and distributing, internally and externally, stories that bring that to life. You’ll help to create and execute reference programs that connect our customers and their stories to the right people, at the right time, with the right context. You will be an essential partner to internal teams that want to stay on top of the latest and greatest with our customers.
RequirementsQualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
7+ years of experience in customer marketing, corporate communications, content marketing, customer and community engagement, or executive communications
Demonstrated success in delivering compelling customer stories, customer experiences, and strategic content
Experience crafting and executing executive-level customer marketing programming
Proven track record of working effectively with customer and internal executives, sales, product management, and marketing to build strong relationships and achieve outcomes
Clear understanding of marketing, sales, and communications priorities and track record of successfully partnering to deliver high-impact customer stories and assets
High-energy, “own it” personality, and ability to drive process improvement and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment under tight timelines
Exceptional communication cross-functionally and at all levels, including senior management
Excellence in both program development, execution, and management
For California applicants, the pay for this role begins at $135,000 plus variable, benefits, perks and equity.
