Packaging Specialist

Create and execute territory development strategy with field management.
Work closely with Equipment Specialists to ensure consumable sales with equipment sales.
Develop and maintain suppliers to support local territory and SupplyOne.
Train sales force and internal staff on related matters – products, processes, equipment, suppliers, and food processing environments.
Assist local merchandisers and purchasing agents on identifying and aligning suppliers – especially for PMP opportunities.
Attend regional & national association meetings.

Qualifications (What you’ll need to be successful)

20+ years of packaging experience ideally within flexible packaging
Experience working as the quarterback, “specialist” between sales and the customer
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to travel as needed within an assigned region
