The cook is responsible for preparing all menu items consistent with Broken Yolk recipes while also
maintaining food safety standards in the kitchen area.

• Prepare all menu items according to Broken Yolk recipes
• Maintain a clean work environment in the kitchen area
• Ensure correct temperature on all ingredients
• Follow food safetystandards
In addition to these responsibilities, the Cook must have the ability and willingness to:
Follow the Broken Yolk system and standards
Learn ingredients and prep methodsfor all Broken Yolk menu item.
• Understand order ticketsfrom a POS system
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Communicate effectively withco-workers
• Report to work on time each day
• Maintain a positiveattitude
• Set a good example for his co-workers
• Work in a small ortight area
• Work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
• Stand for long periods of time
• Bend,stoop orreach several times daily
• Lift up to 20 pounds
• Go in and out of cold storage
• Operate all cooking equipment including stove, grill and fryer
• Safely use knives and othersharp objects
• Obtain a valid food handler card
