Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hiring Coordinator to join our small but thriving medical practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in the medical industry and hands-on experience in hiring and onboarding employees, such as receptionists and medical assistants. This role also includes writing and maintaining employee procedures, ensuring our team operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the recruitment process for roles such as receptionists and medical assistants, including posting job openings, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations.
• Develop and maintain detailed employee procedures and policies to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
• Assist in onboarding new hires, including training and familiarizing them with practice operations and procedures.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices in hiring.
• Support the practice manager with additional administrative and HR-related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
• Required: Proven experience in hiring and recruitment, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Prior experience working in a small medical practice or similar environment is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in drafting and managing employee procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and team members.
• Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
Schedule:
This is a part-time or full-time position (depending on candidate availability), with flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the practice.
