THE POSITION:
We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to strengthen our finance and compliance function that supports our 43 offices around the world. You will help determine how Endeavor Global, which operates akin to a headquarters, works with our affiliate offices with regard to audit, accounting, tax and compliance. You will work with these offices to collect and analyze their financials and provide best practices and guidance. This is a hybrid role, with at minimum 3 days per week to be spent at Endeavor Global’s office in NY.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As an international and agile company, we know that no two days will be the same. That said, the Finance Manager will work primarily on the following responsibilities.
- Create data-informed financials (~30%): You will lead the efforts on collecting, visualizing, and analyzing the financial data from our 43 markets. This will require collaborating closely with our Managing Directors and finance managers of our affiliate offices and developing a savvy understanding of what data they need to make good financial decisions.
- Improve financial processes (~20%): You will coordinate with experts (legal, tax, audit) to improve our current policies and processes and embed a sound and practical compliance framework that supports Endeavor’s international and domestic activities.
- Own key areas of the month-end closing process (25%): For your assigned areas, you will take ownership over the accounting, the underlying policies and processes, and be an excellent communicator on US GAAP impact to colleagues with no finance or accounting background.
- Other responsibilities (~25%): Given the size of the team, there are opportunities to contribute across other finance team initiatives, including reporting with Endeavor’s venture arm, Endeavor Catalyst, supporting the annual audit, or leading process enhancement projects.
