Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Commercial Real Estate Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for commercial real estate and possess strong analytical skills. The Junior Commercial Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for conducting property valuations, developing financial models, analyzing financial statements, and assisting with various tasks related to commercial real estate transactions.
Financial Data Management:
• Coordinate the collection and meticulous organization of financial documents for impending appeals.
• Efficiently transfer financial data from the Data email to relevant Salesforce records and designated OneDrive folders.
Administrative Tasks:
• Execute comprehensive office administration duties, encompassing the meticulous upkeep of files on OneDrive, Salesforce, and other platforms.
• Provide adept assistance in office onboarding procedures for both sales personnel and interns.
• Offer adept technical support within the office environment and proficiently prepare for Zoom meetings.
• Manage inbound calls, discerning callers' needs, and accurately directing them to the appropriate valuator.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive commercial property valuations across all asset categories, focusing on new construction apartments, existing retail spaces, and established office buildings.
• Develop intricate Pro-Forma and Discounted Cash Flow models to aid in decision-making processes.
• Craft compelling presentations utilizing PowerPoint to effectively convey complex financial concepts.
• Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements to derive meaningful insights.
• Scrutinize and evaluate legal documents such as retail leases to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Engage and liaise with clients, real estate brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Conduct thorough market research, including comparative analysis of properties and leases, to inform strategic decisions.
Experience Requirements:
• Proficient in Excel with a strong aptitude for modeling.
• Thorough understanding of Time Value of Money Concepts including PV, NPV, IRR, etc.
• Demonstrated expertise in PowerPoint presentation skills, emphasizing effective formatting techniques.
• Fundamental knowledge of commercial properties and associated financial principles.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
