Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a skilled
General Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our team.
We are looking for an individual to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including office practice, operating room time and participation in a 1 in 8 on-call rotation. While advanced training or fellowship in minimally invasive surgery is considered an asset, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be FRCSC trained or equivalent and eligible for an independent, unrestricted license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. American applicants with FACOG certification would fulfill the above and are encouraged to apply.

Recent updates to our Labour & Delivery and Postpartum floor, as well as Surgical Suites, ensure a contemporary and comfortable working environment. CMH is classified as a Level 2C hospital, specializing in the care of mothers and babies from 34 weeks gestational age and above, handling between 1400-1600 deliveries annually. Future developments are to include an early pregnancy assessment center. Renumeration is a fee-for-service model billed through OHIP plus on-call stipend.
As an affiliated teaching site with the Waterloo Campus of the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University, there are opportunities to engage with medical learners at various levels, including medical students and residents.
